Catherine Bell, a tall and athletic performer was born in London, England. However she relocated into Los Angeles, California with her mother when she was just a child. Although she had intended to study pre-medicine in college, Bell dropped out to pursue modeling as a profession in Japan. Following a stint in commercials, she moved back into Los Angeles to perform as a guest on TV as well as to appear in a few small-scale film roles. In 1992 she was Isabella Rosellini's naked body double in the film Death Is Her that led her to meet her partner Adam Deason on the set.
