Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American actress, singer and music producer. She is most famous for her role as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy program "The Goldbergs". She is primarily the performer. She says that music has always been her first passion. By the time she reached age 12 she was taking the music seriously enough that she began professional training. At 13, she began creating songs. She recorded her debut album when she was 14. And the rest is history. Orrantia is a native of the USA but has Hispanic roots. She is a native of Hispanic roots even if she was only able to speak English as a child and spent her entire life in the United States. To preserve it, she has learned Spanish and has written songs that are in Spanish. One such song is "Hasta Verte," which she recorded in Spanish. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the premiere Season of The X Factor. Orrantia got four "yeses" from the judges in the Seattle live auditions after having been selected from her YouTube video submission. She was originally a solo performer, but after "Hollywood Week", three other female performers were placed in groups to take part in the auditions. They were eliminated in the fifth week during the live performance.
