Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland's Reykjavik. She is an Icelandic CrossFit professional athlete. She's also a coach and instructor for Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the only woman who has ever won in the CrossFit Games two times. She placed second in the CrossFit Games in 2010 and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter as well as a media star. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. In addition, she is known for being the winner of both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie together with her parents and her siblings, was born at Reykjavik Iceland. Since a young child she was a sports and fitness fanatic. In 2009, she participated in the CrossFit Games in California where she was able to perform very well during the initial competitions. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 in 2021. She stands at 5'7" tall, and weighs about 67 kg. Annie was the first to start CrossFit in California 2009. She did well in her first competitions and was at the top of the list out of 70. Although she didn't win any of the titles however she was able to finish in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Coach Jami Tikannen guided her to an overall second place at the CrossFit Games, and a medal in the silver category that year. After a year full of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performances earned her the title. Annie was again victorious at in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her exceptional performance. She became the first female athlete to win two CrossFit Games at once. In 2014, she received a gold medal. And in 2021, she was awarded the bronze medal. Annie trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her idea. Annie was a well-known athlete following her recognition. She has been associated with many sports brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydrolysis Sidekick Yerbae and many more. Aside from that, she also has her own Youtube channel which has around a thousand followers where her workout diet family videos and travel vlogs are shared.
