Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is a CrossFit professional athlete. She coaches and trains in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. She did well in her first competitions and was within the top 10 of 70. But she did not win a championship and concluded with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed 2nd in CrossFit Games and was awarded a Silver medal that same year. The following year, she participated again in CrossFit events and thanks to her outstanding performance she was able to win the games becoming the first female to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games. Annie was again victorious at in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her exceptional performance. It was her first time as a female athlete to be crowned the winner of the two CrossFit Games at once. In addition, in 2014 she was awarded a silver medal as well as in 2021, she was awarded the bronze medal at CrossFit Games. Annie is a coach and trainer with her team at Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie has become a famous athlete when she gained the attention of. She's worked with many sports brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydrolysis Sidekick Yerbae among others. She also has her own Youtube channel called "Annie" and has more than a thousand viewers.
