Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is a well-known American cookery book author and Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002 and aired up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina began her writing career by writing nuclear energy policies and budgets to the White House. Her first impression was that her job as stimulating intellectually, however she soon lost interest, and opened a speciality store for food known as Barefoot Contessa. She spent eighteen years making the business extremely profitable before selling it off and picking up the pen and writing her first book. A number of other books and magazine articles followed. Her Food Network television program also began and rapidly gained popularity. Also, Ina sells products including food-related ingredients, storage containers and equipment. Ina did not go to a cookery school nor did she work in a dining establishment. Ina is a self-taught cook. Ina is well-known for her unpretentious style of entertainment as well as her simple food preparation. Her most well-known recipes include Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
