Zoe-perry
Perry was born the 25th of July 1968 in Chicago, Illinois to Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. On the ABC sitcom Roseanne (as seen by flashback) her mother played Jackie Harris in two of Perry's early TV appearances. The parents of her were not keen to let her perform until she turned older and worried about the consequences of stress. Perry shy and timid to perform in the school, began to perform in the theater at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Perry, after graduating from Boston University moved in New York in search of TV roles. Perry was able to land small roles on TV shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, homesickness led her to California for theater roles. She performed on Broadway in The Other Place with her mother in 2013. She performed with the father of her character Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in the year 2015 in The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. In the year 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family. In 2017, Perry had a role on ABC's political thriller Scandal with her father. The actress also portrayed her older Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon which was which is a CBS spin-off from The Big Bang Theory. The character was picked via auditions though she had a close connection with it.
