Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer and animal rights activist. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most famous movies. New York was her home and she was brought up in a creative environment. Her first job was as a photo assistant. After that, she switched to acting and modeling. Her name was highlighted in her two first films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. MacGraw quickly became famous after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films MacGraw was named the most successful female film in the history of box offices. In 1972 her hand-footprints as well as her signature were inscribed at Grauman's Chinese Theater. She has starred in several other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among other. Moving Pictures is her autobiography, published in 1991. MacGraw got married to three different people.
